Which of these teams do you expect will finish higher in the overall standings?
Are there really though? Maybe if we narrow it to the two teams divisions. There is a lot of garbage in the Pacific division.More bottom feeders in the east to inflate point totals against, so I'm going to take Montreal
I don't have an issue with people picking Dallas - but i'm curious how many of those voting Dallas actually realize Montreal had 3 more points than Dallas did last season.
A poster on your board, said I what I've been saying: The Habs over achieved.
The West is a lot weaker so probably Dallas
Very debatable. East has like 7 weak teams compared to like 4 in the West. Habs might even be one of the weak teams in the East this season considering they might fall back down to earth
yeah its really not lol
4 out of the top 5 teams were in the East. 3 teams who made the playoffs in the West wouldn't have made it in the East. Out of the Eastern teams that didn't make the playoffs, NJ, NYR, PHI, FLR got significantly better while in the West only Vancouver made significant improvements.5 of the bottom 6 teams last year were in the East.

Creates arbitrary under 90 mark as if all teams under 90points were exactly the same caliber. I don't know why it's so hard to understand. More bottom feeders in the east means teams, including the best , get to inflate their point totals. But alas here I am are trying to explain to you as if you're simple mindedwhat a load of garbage. both had 7 sub 90 pt teams. The east had six 100pt teams though while the west had just 3.
top 6 in the east averaged 107pts....west 100 on the nose
