Our remaining schedule is pretty damn tough, gotta start playing a better structure game, and the top line needs to do something other than let the other team score.

If I get bored after I finish homework, I'll crunch the numbers.

Did a little update. No magic numbers though. Don't see us winning the Division, but you never know

I think we clinch against NSH

Looks like the current 8th place team, MN can win out and get to 100. Avs and Yotes are have played one more game, and can only get to 98.

Stars have 91. Not sure about tie breakers with MN, but it if they have them, it would seem we need 9 points in 12 games to clinch, or any combo of MN lost points and Stars gained points that equal 9.

Chicago gives up 2 points, loses to LA 5-0.

Let's hope LA wore down beating Chicago, and but it doesn't sound like it.....and got complacent with a win, meaning they don't need it as badly tonight.

Seems like we rarely get the benefit of other teams coming in on a back to back in these big games. We should take advantage.

98 points is what we currently need to clinch.

EDM, WPG, CGY, and VAN mathematically cannot catch up to us.

ARI could still technically pass us up if they won out (which would give them 93 points), we lost out, and they got more regulation wins than us....not gonna happen.

MIN can max out at 97 points, so they could still technically catch us.

looks like COL snuck up on MN and can win out to get 98 points. If we lose out they would pass us in ROW wins, too. So by my count, we need 99 or 6 points.

We'd still get at least a wildcard spot if we had 98 points to finish the season and they got 99.

We just have to beat out MIN and ARI to get in.
