Dallas, TX (CP) - After 3 games of the season the Dallas Stars are off to an interesting start to the season.

After a loss, a tie and last night in an interesting win that should not have been.

Somehow the Stars, who were outshot 14 to 39 managed to squeak out a win against hte Washington Capitals who were undefeated to start the season.

Lucky for the Stars, Patrick Lalime was in nets last night.

After not showing up in the first two games of the season, Alexei Yashin finally realized that the season started by potting a hat trick. The only other player that decided to show up for the game last night was Kipprusoff who absolutely stoned the Capitals last night while getting peppered for 39 shots.

Also, freshly aquired veteran defenceman deserves mention for picking the team up on his shoulders the other night against Montreal where he almost single handedly put the team on his shoulders and got the Stars a tie.
