May is 100% correct! Carlson was completely helpless in that situation because he's trying to play the puck. There was no reason for Benn to push Carlson like that and you know it was intentional. The refs too many times in all games seem to not call penalties on plays like this when the obvious culprit is not even playing for the puck!

As good as the Canes have been all season, they have a tendency to go through goal scoring dry spells. The Canes are in a bit of a slump right now.

McMichael has looked fantastic but for some reason they won’t give him playing time.

I have no idea how they’d pull it off, they this team really needs a 2C. Backstrom seems to be finding his stride on the PP which is great, but the puck dies way too much in the offensive zone when the puck reaches his stick. Rarely any dangerous looks in his game any more.
