TSN's trade tracker has it as a 2024 4th rounder.

I'm fine with this.......nice depth add for the bottom six, although I'm sure Bones will have him shuffled all through the lineup to see what fits.

Yeah he can play all over the lineup, winger or center, decent at faceoffs, good on the PK, above average defensively, and they don't call him Empty Netmestnikov for nothing.

If he doesn't re-sign in Dallas, wouldn't be surprised to see the Wings take a look at him again in the off-season.

For this cost I’d just have held onto Namestnikov. He and Jarnkrok are comparable and Calgary paid a 2nd for Jarnkrok.

They are not comparable. Both are well defensively, but Järnkrok is by far better scorer.

Pretty cheap for Namestnikov. Just a really solid 3rd liner who can fill an injury gap in the top 6 in a pinch.
