He was sent to Texas, currently Dallas is missing Klingberg, Methot, Carrick, and Johns. Texas Stars are missing Reece Scarlett (Year ending injury) and Gavin Bayreuther.

Six defenders injured in the organization, Fedun is added to Texas roster and Ben Gleason is called up to Dallas.

Should Fedun play in 25-or-more regular-or-postseason games with the Dallas Stars during the 2018-19 season, a 2020 seventh-round pick will be sent to Buffalo.

Which is unlikely, so just Sabres dumping a contract and Dallas adding a much needed AHL defender.

Polak is now our third best defenseman and played 23 minutes last game ( Yes injuries are that bad ) Carrick blocked a shot with his ankle and has been out since the games in Detroit last week . Hasn't even skated since.

Polak is playing, Carrick is out with a lower body injury. Stephen Johns, Marc Methot, and John Klingberg are also all out with injuries.
Normal callups Bayreuther and Scarlett also injured.

The team needed some help on depth to get through the injuries. That is all.

Not really. Not like we could account for this many injuries . In theory we have 8 NHL defenseman. Just 5 of those are now injured .

Correction Polak is sick and out today. Ben Gleason will make his NHL debut tonight who was an undrafted camp invite to prospect camp and was signed by Dallas to an ELC .

Wow is that Dallas defense hurting. When you're playing Polak 20+ minutes you're in rough shape.

It costs Buffalo the cup in 2006 in losing to Carolina in 2006 pkayoffs.

Regular season top 6 were Campbell, numinen, Talinder, Lydian, McKee,mKalinin. Only Campbell ( bottom pair then )and Lydman played against Carolinspa..the others were out with injury/illness.
