Dadonov has been better than i expected for sure, watching him play in the WHC's he always seemed to lack killers instinct.

But he's made some real nice plays and his speed and quick thinking allows him to play the NHL game. Not sure Panthers could've hoped for much more than what he's showed so far.

Again? Stop this already, please. Shipachev did not have his chance. He has like 10 minutes in 3 games missing the beginning of the season "thanks" to the worst GM in hockey. (Shut up Montreal fans ). During that time 14 October-21 October Shipachev scored exactly the same amount of goals as McDavid and Ovechkin together. Not the worst company heh?

Dadonov was signed exactly for a role he's capable and suitable to fulfil - to play with two stars. He did exactly this in the KHL, he's doing exactly this in the NHL. So no surprise he's doing well. He can score, he proved it many times on SKA and Russian NT. Now he's proving it on Panthers. Those, who saw, what goals they used to score with Panarin/Gusev and Shipachev, shouldn't be surprised at all, how good Dadonov looks in the NHL. I personally am surprised, what a progress he made, playing in the KHL. When he came to the league, I never expected him being more than another solid, but nothing especial player, but he turned into an essential player for SKA and Team Russia. Now he just continues, what he started in the KHL.

This thread is unwarranted as it is too early to tell. The discussion should be about his play, but to hyperbolize your title is nothing short of spam.

What we do know: Dadonov has produced and has developed chemistry with Huberdeau and Barkov. Among signings in the summer, he is right up there.
What we don't know: If Dadonov's production is sustainable, and likewise for other players signed this summer.

Only for people who are bad at analyzing all factors. On the small rink Dadonov is by far superior to Shipachyov who never learned to play a more physical style.

It's not Shipachyov's fault that Vegas has the worst GM in the league. They have not been able to give Ship a chance to succeed. 3 games with 10 TOI, that's it.

Dadonov is a nice player but he gets to play with Barkov and Huberdeau.
