He's basically there to keep a young guy in Rockford a bit longer for developmental purposes.

If young guys aren't ready he takes a spot on one of the pairs, but hopefully he's more of a 7th D by years end at least.

Most are not really assets and we received drafts picks for taking them with their contracts

Every team needs a Tinordi type and none of the guys coming up fill that role....he was a nice pick up by Davidson and has fulfilled the role.....me like.

I'm happy for him but I don't get it. Those hip issues are probably coming back and he doesn't have the playoff experience to flip for anything worthwhile.

Would rather see the spot be a revolving door for other players, don't see the need to burn a contract slot on him. Are the intangibles that magical?

Too many ELCs at LD and there's not a good reason to restrict his ability to take on a bad LD contract right now.

Here's to hoping he moves or buries a few of the LDs sooner rather than later.

Nice interview by Boyle with Tinordi. He might be on the ice alot with Bedard (and will be well worth the penalty minutes). I doubt he'll stay healthy the whole year but I hope he does not have the terrible injury luck he had last season.
