I guess he can score points without Lafreniére :sarcasm:. (thou didn't score in his last 2 games...)
- a nice long range wrister with his 7th goal and 39th point of the season.

His 42 points still lead all rookies in the QMJHL and in the entire CHL
2 points ahead of Cole Sillinger (WHL), sure Cole's ppg is higher, so is fellow QMJHL player L'Heureux's.

Seems to produce a lot for 2021 D.
Is he the result of playing with Lafreniere?

Where does he fit in 2021?

At least according to QMJHL box score stats, you know, what comes to his point production,
Lafreniére has been part of 18/46 (38%) Belliveau's points this season.
- i thought it was much higher number thou

Well 62% of his actual production is enough to have him in 1st round discussion.
Seems like a top-10 for 2021 to me.

Here are my scouting notes on his performance on October 2nd 2020 for anyone interested. I take a closer look at his good and worst moments.

Yeah....i think i was wrong about him, or is he just having a bad season?
- as is entire team

The team is 4-10 and scoring under 2 goals per game. The team is bad.

He still has some offensive talent; but last year his stats seemed to be really inflated.

Exactly why you (and other posters) need to stop judging players solely on their stat line. Anyone who actually watched him play knew he was greatly inflated by playing so much with Lafreniere, especially on the PP. Hes still likely an NHL draft pick but not a top prospect by any means.

Belliveuau just got traded, to Olympics.

To Olympics : Belliveau, Boisseneault, Coxhead
To Oceanic : 2021 1st round pick, 2022 1st round & 2022 2nd round pick + MacKinnon & Dunsmoore,

a bump

i might have overrated him during/after his magical 16 year old season
but has he redeemed himself? anyone who's been following his season could give a comment

Sure, RD Tristan Luneau might be actual (and the only) star of the Olympiques (with Dean)
but Belliveau leads his team in d-men points with 17 is +7 and about 60 shots on goal
- how's his game look today?
