The :sens are incredibly surprised we lost 17-2, but wish the Rangers the best of luck in their next series. Beating Philly by only one showed us the writing on the wall.

A little disappointed, because I truly believe my team was better than that and very even with the Rangers, but there is always next year.

Looking forward to a very daunting task in the Boston Bruins. The 2011 Stanley Cup winners have an extremely impressive top-6, a Norris trophy winner in Zdeno Chara anchoring the defense, and young rising talent Tuukka Rask. They are a deep team at offense and defense.

Where I think they have taken a big hit, is in the physicality department, which was an instrumental part in their Stanley Cup run. Other then Milan Lucic, they lack the nasty forwards they used to. Losing guys Shawn Thornton and Adam McQuaid could come back to haunt them.

We feel we match up well against the Bruins as we have the fire power to match their offense. We have a talented, young defense, and our goaltending is very strong.

Just a question for you guys:

As the Stanley Cup finals is looming and at this point, my team is still involved, do people want me to get someone else to take votes? I understand if people think it may be a conflict of interest.

[FIELDSET="Roster overview"]

While the Kings do have an excellent offense, they have also lost several key pieces from last years cup run. Gone are players like Richards, Carter, Kopitar, and Williams, and instead of been replaced with several, much softer players such as Kessel and Semin. Semin is a choker, and struggles in the playoffs, while Kessel has no experience at all. From our end, gone are the likes of Raymond, Booth, and Pahlsson, who were part of the battered Canuck team that lost last year, and in is a healthy D.Sedin, JVR, Michalek, Doan, and O'Reilly. We feel with the deepest and best offense in the league, we can easily beat the Kings.

On defense, while yes, the Kings do have a very good D, we also have an excellent top shutdown pairing in Hamhuis and Bieksa. They are backed up by Johnson, Garisson, Sekera, and Tanev. Goals against was not a problem last year, scoring goals was. We feel that issue has been fixed, and that our D is even more capable than last years in holding the Kings in check.

In goal, Quick is obviously one of the top netminders in the league, but Schneider has also posted incredible numbers, setting Canuck records last year in Save percentage and GAA. This years Canuck team is bigger, way deeper, stronger, and better than last years team that lost to the Kings. The core that made it to game 7 of the SCF is still intact, while the Kings on the other hand, have lost several key pieces.[/FIELDSET]

I trust you to be fair. As long as people do not change their votes or something because they feel they may insult you lol

I trust Produce Man as well. Its just a game and a fake Stanley Cup that will be forgotten after a few weeks unless you are KLLR. ;)

We have a very strong top 6 that can compete with NYRs but our bottom 6 is stronger and more experienced than the Rangers. He has stronger D but Rask > Backstrom at this point in his career. This will be a tough series but hopefully we can pull through.

[FIELDSET="2012-2013 Roster Overview"]Remember the Stanley Cup Winning Team? Well it just got BIGGER, BADDER, BETTER, and BEASTLIER!

Forwards:
We have one of the best, if not the best, offense in this league and we feel that with superstars such as Tavares, Kessel, Hartnell, Brown, Semin and more, it will be easy to beat the Vancouver Canucks. As the GM of the nucks mentioned, the Nucks still boast the same forwards in general, the same forwards that got beat in the first round lats year by a weaker defense than this year.

Defense: We have the best defensive core in the history of the NHL. Drew Doughty still leads this pack of young skilled top defenders in the league. Vancouver's top pairing would currently slot into our 3rd pairing because of the immense amount of superstars we have on defense. It is likely the best defensive corps in history simply because we have three #1 dmen, one #2 dman, and three Top 4 dman.

Goaltenders: Jonathan Quick vs Cory Schneider....Enough Said!

Simply like to point out some huge mistakes in this..normally I do not care about other teams propaganda, but c'mon man, really?? Same forward corps?? Adding Michalek, O'Reilly, Doan, McGinn and JVR=same? I added 4 top 6 forwards+ a top 9 forward. Just because you traded most of your good forwards does not mean I have to trade the Sedins I hope as well??? My offense is easily better than yours. Three #1 D? Umm...Doughty, maybe, Enstrom...thats it buddy. Coburn is a #3. Girardi is not a #1 either, sorry.

Oh yeah..and this...BIGGER, BADDER, BETTER, and BEASTLIER!

Kessel+Semin+Little+Enstrom=smaller, softer, easier to beat. Those are some of the softest players in the league  I do not mind exaggeration, we all do it. Blatant lies piss me off

There hasn't been one for the last few days as dHabs has been away. I suppose I could do it, but that requires me to do work around here, and that doesn't happen ;)

We have nothing negative to say about our opponents. We know what they bring to the table, and we know they heave a hell of a squad. It will be an honour to face them, and hope that we can repeat the outcome of 1994.
