Derek Stepan
Wayne Simmonds

Active-rebuild, basically complete. Paid a huge price, but we are a better team after this trade. We had an excess of forwards, and Anaheim was depleted.

:bruins are getting aggressive. Need one more threat in their top 6. Names like Marchand, Kelly, and Peverley can be packaged for a legitimate scoring thread.

Can we just give the Rangers the cup and spare us all the trouble?

No, not really. Their bottom 6 & goaltending aren't too great. Boston's where it's at :yo:

Your top 6 is pretty sick but your bottom six could use some work.

How about my roster?

By bottom 6, do you mean all positions or just centers? I think my wingers are solid, but I'm not 100% familiar with all of them. Who are the weak links? I know my centers suck, working on that.

Your lineup is just stellar. I don't even want to critique anything, but if i had to pick a "weakness", it's your 2nd D pairing, but even then....not really.

Why are we in the same division?

any ideas on how to improve, other then get a top 6? because whenever someone becomes available, NYR makes a crazy offer and beats me out

Very, very VERY good line-up. Man, a lot of good teams in the east. Not really any glaring weaknesses. I'd say the closest you have to one is bottom six wingers, and maybe Pavs, but an excellent team.

Thanks, man.

By bottom six, yes, I meant more all positions than just centers. Your 3rd line is decent but without a true #3 Center, it isnt a sure bet to be successful. And Butler really isnt ready for 3rd line minutes.
My advice would be to look for a vet C like Prospal and a RW on the cheap. Move Bulter and Da Costa to your 4th line

Unfortunetly there aren't any good UFA centers available. Looking at trade options. Til then, switch eaves and butler?

Latendresse - (trade) - Eaves
Miller - Regin/Da Costa - Butler

Better?

I like your bottom 6. Pretty solid. Yeah, only thing I think you need is a veteran LW to play with Wilson an Setoguchi. Someone who can score 25-30 and push Burmistrov down to the third.
