Dhabs98 GM Game Awards

The Selanne Trophy

This trophy goes to the newest GM who shows great potential and performed admirably. The winner of this award is Paneerboy and Zemgus26. Paneerboy was able to take a aging Bruins team some new life by bringing in some new young blood with players like Shea Theodore, Alex Tuch, Mikael Granlund, Logan Brown and others. Zemgus26 came in late but took a Devils team which lacked depth at almost every position and filled some of their most glaring holes. With additions like Michael Del Zotto, Alexei Emelin and Lubomir Visnovsky the Islanders defense is now set. He then brought in Kyle Turris,Brad Boyes and Milan Michalek to help round out the top 9. Thanks to the work of these two rookie GMs both franchises are on their way back to success and the league is happy to honor them for it.

Trade Broker Award

This trophy goes to the GM who is also working on making deals to improved his trade. This award goes to trick9. While the Pens had a great forward group to work with trick had to basically remake a defense group and improve his goaltending. During that process he completely remade the Penguins adding big name players such as Steven Stamkos, Victor Hedman and Ryan Suter. In addition to that he added good support players such as Patrick Marleau, Brent Burns, Ryan Kesler and Ryan Callahan. For his work he gets the Trade Broker Award.

The Produce Trophy

In honor of former GM this trophy goes to the one GM who improved his team dramatically from the start of the game to the end. Taking a team like the Buffalo Sabres usually means a GM is retooling but Weylspin decided to go all in and he greatly improved the Sabres. He was able to bring in studs like Logan Couture, Zach Bogosian, Alex Edler and the Sedin brothers to improve the team's offense and defense. To top it off he was able to bring in a elite goalie in Tuukka Rask. Thanks to Wey's moves the Sabres made it back to the playoffs for the first time since 2011. While the Sabres lost out in the first round thanks to Wey's moves the future is bright in Buffalo.

The Up Everyday Every Night Award

This award goes to most active GM throughout the game. This award goes to JohnnyGraz, from the start of the game to the end Johnny as been one of if not the most active GM. For constantly voting and working updating his roster he has deserve this award. Honorable mention to Zemgus26 for this award as well.​
