I feel bad for Hainsey but at the same time he should have known better than to sign with crappy teams.

Maybe only crappy teams wanted him?

Taylor Hall might lead this category one day. Devils future doesn't look too bright. Horrible roster combined with the fact that Schneider will never let them be bad enough to get really good picks.

Poor Hainsey.

To quote Vinnie Jones' character from the end of "Gone in 60 Seconds":

"Poor Hainsey? I say poor us."

Seriously I think because of his skating ability and his willingness to throw a lot of hits, Hainsey is generally regarded as a much better player than he actually is. These days he's just flat out bad.

Hainsey is a likeable Everyman, that goes a long ways with hockey fans.
