I don't know if or how much anyone else cares about this but I enjoy looking at it. I pulled up the numbers for all the players that have played for the Coyotes since their move to Phoenix. These numbers are based on the hockey database so my apologies for any mistakes.

In terms of franchise records, Doan is two points away from tying Thomas Steen for 2nd overall in franchise points (817).

Dale Hawerchuk is first with 929 points, so Doan should be able to pass that before the end of his contract.

Anyone think Shane has a realistic chance of hitting 1000 points before he hangs up the skates? If he continues getting 50-ish points a season he could have it in a little of three years. Obviously getting older his point total will trail off some so let's say it'll take four seasons?

Looking at this makes me even more pissed off that Roenick and Tkachuk have their numbers retired.
