Time has expired (again) for the New Jersey Devils... they get someone from NA or Euro eligible for 2011.

With the second pick of round #7, #182 overall, the Edmonton Oilers select '92-born John Persson of the Red Deer Rebels. The 6'2, 195 lb LW from Mora, SWE has accumulated 29 goals and 53 points through 60 games this year.

And with that, the Oilers say so long and good luck to the rest of the teams assembled and still actually taking part in the mock draft.

1st Rd - Sean Couturier (C) Drummondville
2nd Rd- Seth Ambroz (RW) Omaha
3rd Rd - Joel Edmundson (D) Moose Jaw
3rd Rd (CGY) - Travis Ewanyk (C/W) Edmonton
4th Rd - Destry Straight (F) Coquitlam
4th Rd (PGH) - Brendan Shinnimin (C) Tri-City
5th Rd (SJ)- Adam Hughesman (LW) Tri-City
6th Rd (SJ) - Dylan Willick (RW) Kamloops
7th Rd - John Persson (LW) Red Deer

NYI (Jimmi Jenkins) has been PM'd

I don't know. To me it screems a bit "2003 fiasco revival".

Guy, do you still would take Couturier at 2 before RNH and Ambroz at 31?
I thought it weren't good decisions and I guess I was right.
