I don't think so. It shouldn't have. Crosby did nothing but seperate Ovechkin from the puck. It wasn't a hard hit. Wasn't the hit Ovechkin put on Crosby a lot harder?
It looked pretty hard he really struggled to stay on his feet.It appears to be a shoulder thing so if it's a pull or something it doesn't take much.Anyway the Globe
is reporting that is the one that eventually sidelined him.
As far as which hit was harder,it really is more about your position and balance when receiving a hit that has more to do with whether you will be injured.
