No points for Kane in two straight games. Time to trade him.

Why does this team always play like crap in front of Crawford? Really don't get it. Not many highlights to this game, except Crawford of course. PK looked better at least.

I was watching this game as an outsider waiting for intermission to end, but did the Islanders impress anyone else?

Great shot to finish it. We didn't deserve a point tonight, Crawford and Ben Smith were the only bright spots.

It blows that NY won, but it seems fitting that Okposo would get the game winner after missing out on Team USA. I think the Islanders fans were chanting U-S-A.

And Crawford was a beast. That save towards the end of the third was huge.

Better team won. What an absolutely pathetic display from the Blackhawks.

A little bit of professionalism and a little bit of pride of play would have gone a long way tonight.

Thanks to Crow for securing us the loser point we didn't deserve.

This team's inability to string together 60 minute efforts for several games in a row continues to be concerning. Maybe somebody should ban them from reading their own press.

meanwhile St. Louis is kicking ass & taking names.
They'll overtake us soon.

Hello #3 seed. :shakehead

Isle is playing well of late. Maybe they are getting into the form they were during the playoffs last year. They were flying. But they cannot double shift the first line half the game all year if that is what it is going to take. They rode that horse to the win.

Blues smoking LA, going to be tough to hold them off the rest of the way. May have to go through their home ice in the playoffs, though I still feel confident we take them out.

Hello #3 seed. :shakehead

Who cares what seed we are heading into the playoffs? We know that the path to the Cup runs through St. Louis and one of the California teams.

This is the Western Conference. There are no easy matchups, even in the first round. Does it really matter if we meet Dallas, Minnesota or Vancouver first?
