Any offer to get Leafs to even further talks would have to revolve around OEL being the main part of any trade proposal and include Strome/Dvorak.

That is probably close to a fair offer, a little light. Having said that, when you are trading quality away, for quantity, and in the position of drafting a #1C that you will have cost controlled, for many years, you won't accept a "fair" offer.

The deal the Leafs would accept, is one that would cripple Arizona. Nothing to see here.

Trade OEL to Edmonton for RNH and 4th overall

Come out of the draft with 4 first round picks (Tkchuck and Nylander whoever else with the other 2) Domi, Dvorak and RNH lol. But still I would like to keep Matthews

In my opinion, this is Matthews, not McDavid. He's not worth giving up 4 assets like that.

The way I see it is there are two different ways to get the conversation going for the 1st overall pick, those two ways are:

OEL + 20th +

OR

Strome + 7th +

Leafs need a #1C or #1D if we're trading this pick.
