Last hockey for awhile most likely and people want this game cancelled? I have tickets and would kind of like to see it.

No petro or Dadonov. Possibly no Stone considering due to Deboer saying there may be a couple of game time decisions.

Against the back to back cup champions.

Of f***ing course I want this game postponed.

Adding to

They really need to update these protocols - 40% of all those entering protocols have exactly zero symptoms, and the death rate amongst athletes (all of whom are allegedly fully vaxxed) is a whopping 0.00%. This virus is really ubiquitous, in one form it will be around for years - it's endemic, no longer a pandemic - and frankly, just testing positive without illness is meaningless.

In actuality, best way to get rid of a virus is to let it circulate (which it'll eventually do in any case) amongst healthy people such as teenagers and athletes, who aren't ever going to wind up in the hospital or ICU and develop natural herd immunity, which the only study in COVID in Israel has been shown to be 27 times more effective than any vaccine. Further to the very limited extent that they work, masks only prolong the time to herd immunity, they don't stop much of anything.

(US) CDC has reduced quarantine period for the asymptomatic (TODAY). But NHL/PA haven't signed off. Nor has the Canadian equivalent of CDC.

reduced to 5 days if no symptoms.

NHL.com noting one postponement tomorrow and 3 Wednesday. VGK-LA still on.

Nice timing to have a 6 day break when you get a covid surge.

Any idea when all the postponed game are going to start being made up? We are in good position are far as that goes leading the league in games played. Calgary and Edmonton have 6 and 5 fewer GP as far as division goes plus Colorado, Minny, Dallas and Winnipeg with 6 fewer GP in conference. Schedule should be a lot less congested for us plus if they are not being made up until later in the season we should have Eichel and Patches back.

Just checking schedule - lots of road games including 4 game trip to Wash., Carolina, Florida, TB, then a 5 gamer and later another 4 gamer, plus two to make up in Canada.

The assumption is that the three weeks that were the Olympic break will be used to make up games.

One issue (still) is that most Canadian provinces are not allowing fans at the games.

While the games that VGK needs to play against Canadian teams are at home, who knows what the NHL will do.
