"In Wednesday night’s game in Edmonton, Logan suffered trauma to his right thigh, creating a Charley-horse effect which prohibited him from returning to the game," Sharks GM Doug Wilson said. "Upon returning to San Jose, it was discovered that there was a small arterial bleed in the area. Last night, Logan underwent a successful procedure in San Jose to close the artery and is expected to make a full recovery." There is no timetable for his return, but this isn't expected to be a long-term injury. Couture was playing in just his second game after returning from an ankle injury that cost him nearly two months"

So many injuries for the Sharks this year. Just unfortunate that we haven't gotten to see everyone since game 3.

Geez, I feel for Couture. This season has been a complete throwaway for him. I hope his recovery goes well and comes back strong next year.

Hopefully he will not be out long. That is just bad luck getting hurt in his second game back after a long layoff due to his broken leg.

Hope he learns how to play defense while he's out, a horrible player on the otherside of the puck, overrated.
