I remember when I used to have gloves with cuffs that long. Not until Brett Hull and his Easton gloves did we all start to go with shorter cuffs and then come home with a lot of cuts on our wrists and forearms because our elbow pads weren't long enough.

Yes, the wristers definitely improved. But what I ended up with is not being able to get out of bed every morning and faced with needing more surgeries and hip/knee replacements and shoulders that separate in a stiff breeze.

My issue was a groin pull so bad l literally couldn't walk. Now I have Osteoporosis and arthritis, so my playing days are long over. But, dayum, I had fun!!!
