Why would Ottawa do this? They have enough quantity of players/prospects, they need some quality ones. They would be able to get a much better player than Murphy for a top 10 pick

Connor Murphy wouldn't be a top 4 RD on Ottawa , really ???? Sports Net or TSN commented that they would go after players instead of continuing to wait for prospects . The only reason I proposed this. I didn't think Ottawa was burning things down to the ground like the Blackhawks did.

I guess most fans don't realize how deep the Blackhawks are on the blueline.(In Prospects). Isaak Phillips is a very promising toolsey 6' 3" 205lb speedy defenceman who has played over 200 pro games at 22 years old.

No , but I dont think its as bad as most are commenting . Murphy on his own is worth around a 1st .

I can see Ottawa and Chicago discussing Murphy in the summer and Phillips would be a nice piece to have but theres no room for discussion on the 1st.
