That and missing the playoffs again, despite a career high in points and his running mate having 50 freakin' goals. You're right, he looks like he's on a mission to drag this team to the playoffs. He looks like he's on a mission this year. Maybe losing the Art Ross race last year to Kucherov secretly motivated him inside.

I was just going to say this, not sure which is more impressive to be honest.McDavid is just the best.
Edit: Also Gretzky's numbers are bonkers.
Said it on multiple occasions. Barring any injuries he could have a season for the ages. 130 to 140 and if he gets some bounces he could hit 140 +He looks like he's on a mission this year. Maybe losing the Art Ross race last year to Kucherov secretly motivated him inside.

Honestly these are some of the easiest points he’s scored as an Oiler. He’s going to Kucherov his way to the Ross if he stats healthy. And I don’t mind it. He’s had to work twice as hard as anyone else to put up the points that he does because of the way the team was set up. It’s time he has an “easier” season.
Orrs are just as bonkers to me, 1.39 as a d-man? peoples minds must have been boggled at that guy at the time.McDavid is just the best.

Coffey's first 10 years were 1.29.Orrs are just as bonkers to me, 1.39 as a d-man? peoples minds must have been boggled at that guy at the time.
Coffey was a gem too that's for sure.Coffey's first 10 years were 1.29.
After McDavid, probably the best skating player ever.Coffey was a gem too that's for sure.
Most beautiful skater I have seen even to this day.
Mcdavid has more sheer speed and that sure is saying something but even Mcdavid couldn't glide on the ice like Coff, when he skated it looked almost as if there were wings on his skates and that he was gliding down the ice on air. After McDavid, probably the best skating player ever.
