He looks like he's on a mission this year. Maybe losing the Art Ross race last year to Kucherov secretly motivated him inside.

Strap on your seatbelts
That and missing the playoffs again, despite a career high in points and his running mate having 50 freakin' goals. You're right, he looks like he's on a mission to drag this team to the playoffs.

Said it on multiple occasions. Barring any injuries he could have a season for the ages. 130 to 140 and if he gets some bounces he could hit 140 +

Blow the roof off anyone in this league

Honestly these are some of the easiest points he’s scored as an Oiler. He’s going to Kucherov his way to the Ross if he stats healthy. And I don’t mind it. He’s had to work twice as hard as anyone else to put up the points that he does because of the way the team was set up. It’s time he has an “easier” season.

He is about to shut HF up for good this season.

The type of offensive season he puts up this year wont be touched by anyone but him and it wont be touched by any other player for a few decades.

Don't look now but as of today he passed Dionne.

1.32 ppg!

However he'll need two pts in the next game to keep that pace though.

Edit: I would honestly not be surprised if he scored 150 this season.

He looks "off" a bit still, which is why he isn't doing the "end to end, typical-McDavid stuff" and having to generate all the points on his own. It is very likely he is still somewhat injured. We have to remember that he has only been cleared for contact for about 3 weeks now. He's still a scary player and still looks like the fastest player in the league. Once he is fully healed by the end of the season, we should see the "old McDavid" back. It's nice to see him be able to get these points, and not have to carry the entire freaking team on his back for once.

In your closet
People try to argue Lemieux over Gretzky all the time when the player they should actually be looking at if they're trying to dethrone the great one is Bobby Orr.

His raw totals are 100% inflated by joining the league right at (the very unfair) initial expansion though.

After McDavid, probably the best skating player ever.
Mcdavid has more sheer speed and that sure is saying something but even Mcdavid couldn't glide on the ice like Coff, when he skated it looked almost as if there were wings on his skates and that he was gliding down the ice on air.

Prettiest skater to watch ever..................even more then Mcd. I stand by that
