Congrats to the Caps and their fans

Had to simmer down a bit, as this series has been a rough one. Wanted to say congrats to the Caps, and in particular the guys on that roster that have gotten so much flak over the years most notably Ovechkin. If we had to come up short at least it's a first time team hoisting that cup and I'm a fan enough of the NHL to recognize that over and above my own disappointment.

And of course thanks to the Knights and their class organization and players for a great season. What an incredible experience this year has been.

As a longtime hockey fan, it was wonderful to see that team finally win the Cup, and the joy that Ovechkin displayed was priceless. My only problem was that we had tickets to Game 7, so it stung a little - who knows if I'll ever get that chance again?
