Edmonton barely got past a team that is significantly worse offensively than the Stars. The Stars forward depth is gonna turn Skinner and Pickard into swiss cheese. Pair that with Dallas having a top-5 Goalie in the NHL currently, this isn't gonna be close. Dallas in 5.

NY Rangers and Florida is gonna be close. Very close. I can easily see that series taking 7 games. I think Shesterkin puts the Rangers over the top in the end though. Rangers in 7.

The pessimistic me says:

Stars over Oilers in 5.
Rangers over Panthers in 7.

The optimistic me says:

Oilers over Stars in 5.
Panthers over Rangers in 4.

Really though I'm fine with any of Edmonton, Dallas, or Florida winning. Rangers must lose at all costs.

Edmonton scored a whopping 8 more goals in the regular season than the Rangers. LOL.
Stopping a 'Team Offence' is way different than stopping 'elite offence'.

Like, shutting down a 30 goal scorer is nothing like stopping multiple 50 goal 100 point players right?

OMG Cool story!:dainty:

Your team that has multiple 100 point players only managed to score 8 more goals than the Rangers this season.

EDM is averaging 3.8GPG versus the Rangers 3.5GPG these playoffs. So much eliteness! We're doomed! Doomed I say!

I've been all in on the Oilers since day 1. So I'll keep sticking with it.

I'm worried with whatever is ailing Mcdavid that he won't be good enough to beat Dallas.

I would really like to see McDavid and Draisaitl shut the critics up. Dallas is gonna be a tough opponent for them, however - tougher than a hobbled Vancouver, anyway. I'll be optimistic and say Oilers in 7.

Florida-NYR is another series between two really good teams. I think I'll give the edge to the Rangers, if only because I am always going to be wary of playoff Bobrovsky. NYR in 7.

Really, all 4 of the remaining teams are very good. No outcome would surprise me.

Correction

Edmonton scored 3.8GPG against the 3rd and 5th best defensive teams in the league.
Rangers put up 3.5GPG against the 4th and 17th best defensive teams.
