He'll get there eventually. Gulutzan is a good teacher, Bob Hartley really wasn't on both ends of the ice. If you look at someone like Backlund, he didn't start out like he plays right now.

Totally agree. Hartley is more of a Keenan style of coach. Gully is much more about the process and knowing your role in the system. He will be great for Monahan.
