Best of luck to Mark Alt! Not really much to work with, he’s basically a poor man’s Luke Schenn. Could be a nice stay at home complementary partner for Samuel Girard if both are given sheltered minutes.

If it doesn't work out with the Avs, maybe he can try out for QB with the Broncos. :sarcasm: Before committing to hockey, he had an offer to play QB for Iowa.

He's a AHL lifer, IMO. Just not good enough any particular area to play in the NHL.

He didn't look out of place in his brief call ups. Big strong guy who skates well. I wish him luck, seems like a classy individual.

He played pretty well in a handful of games this year.

He is a low-event, keep-it-simple type but he is a righty. Not going to bring an ounce of offense but doesn't lack mobility in the dzone.

With all the injuries we have on D, he's going to stay in the NHL for the season most likely. Can't be worse than Warsofsky.
