I know opinions are mixed on both of those guys but as free non drafted assets they're easy net wins.

I was really hoping if we weren’t done signing college UFAs this year, we’d sign Jake Livingston. I know he’s still playing so maybe there’s a chance, but it’s less likely now after signing this guy. We need some size on our RD.

I know, ditto with Ben Myers. I just wonder if signing another RD makes it less likely (even though we're not deep at that position) or management knows we're not a front runner for him. Most teams in the NHL could use a RD prospect.

All that said, hopefully Swampy can be a diamond in the rough.

Given that Hextall seems to be going with a "sign everyone he possibly can" strategy, I wouldn't say it counts them out of anyone who hasn't signed yet.

I mean, he's already signed 5 this month, why not more?
