A nice salute to the Kings from Colin Hanks, A long time avid Kings fan. It's an article posted by Sports Illustrated, as he nominated them for Sportsman of the Year

He cited some of the incredible playoff run stats and how amazing it was and ended the article with this parting thought

When you look at team effort and everything a team has to do to win, I don’t see any team beating the L.A. Kings for SI's Sportsman of the Year. I’m sure Joel McHale will talk his Legion Of Boom with the Seahawks and they are impressive. But what the Kings had to do to get where they did just doesn’t happen in sports. It was the most impressive team effort I've ever seen in sports.

He's right, it was the most impressive run and should be saluted. Don't think it will but you never know...
