Decent contract, maybe $1.5M per would have been reasonable. Underwhelming player, still young and continues to work hard on improving.

Carry a line by himself? He carries nothing. Should be on the 4th line. Nuke made that line happen. He was the line driver. Without Nuke, Jost's advance stats nosedive

Such a bad take here. Watched him live in the playoffs and he was excellent. Does so much good, just doesn’t ever get credit.

He does a lot of things better and better but he will never really drive a line. He must also improve a ton in faceoffs if he wants to become an effective PKer

Similar to Nuke, Jost is doing a solid job of adjusting that top-six upside into bottom six reality. Nuke is the better player but jost is coming along. I’d rather pay him $2m than some vet in UFA with no upside.
