Bowers needs time in the AHL and Kamenev has simply not been that good + the injuries sure don't help

Bellemare is the safer bet, great faceoff guy, leader and pker. Bowers needs more time at a pro level anyways, hes coming off an underwhelming NCAA year. Kamenev can slot in for injuries but he also has to prove he can stay healthy.

Guess you're right. It is what it is. Just sucks to see young guys not have a shot to come up.

Now with Kadri the 3c spot will likely be battled out between Jost, Compher and Kamanev. All those guys can also play wing so I wont be surprised to see some lines blendered.

Those guys will get their shots, injuries happened every year and no one would have penciled in guys like Dries and Gourque to play as many games as they did last year. Now that the Avs are contending they will just have actual NHL level talent to fill those spots rather than AHL guys.

Kam hasn't played hockey in about 2 years thanks to all the injuries and there is no harm in giving Kaut and Bowers extra minor league time.

Greer has always seemed to be a black sheep, if he can't crack the roster now, we might see him flipped.
