This is going to be tough for the "Mo must go crowd", regardless of what happens in future rounds, very likely his job is safe for now as the Jets have exceeded expectations by winning a round and a sweep at that.
Woo-whoo. Saved my ass for another year.
The fact that the Jets swept the Oilers with that D, and missing Ehlers for the first 2 games, suggests that the coaches had a decent game plan. They played a pretty smart and disciplined game, all things considered.
Some people here I think would sooner pull their own finger nails out with a pair of pliers before admitting the coaches had a great game plan for the series vs a heavily favorited team and two of the best players in the NHL.
Great series by PMO, coaches created a perfect plan to defeat the Oilers (not saying they expected a sweep).
He's still a subpar NHL coach. Even winning a cup wouldn't change that. This is going to be tough for the "Mo must go crowd", regardless of what happens in future rounds, very likely his job is safe for now as the Jets have exceeded expectations by winning a round and a sweep at that.

If Noel had Hellebuyck in net, he'd still be the head coach.Yeah, the “MO MUST GO” crowd must be very depressed with that unfortunate sweep of the Oilers.
