Another Western Conference Final, let's go!!!!

Out of curiosity, do you guys think we match up better against Dallas or Colorado?
Dallas is deeper than Colorado. But also older. Not sure how well they would fare in the third round of the playoffs especially if it goes 7 games.

40 min of dominance, 10 min grinding. A Turnover and the mental game started.

Knob Learned from game 1 and took a needed timeout.
Pk was stellar, PP need to moving the puck faster.

We are bad at grinding out games on leads, losing our strengts when sitting back.

Stars another animal, but think we match them pretty good, like our chances against a playing team.
They just sit back on the lead in the third instead of skating. It worked against LA, but against speedier teams like Vancouver they end up chasing in their own end and eventually make mistakes.

This was one hell of a lot close than it ever should have been. Same with the series.

I was telling the wife when the 3rd period started. just play a clean period, don't need any more goals. Don't do anything stupid and no gifts.

And then with 14 minutes left, Connor Brown lifts one over the glass with no pressure on him. But we killed it off fortunately.

And then with about 8 minutes left, we are still playing solid and this looks really comfortable. And then, it happened. Inexplicably, Ryan McLeod comes up with one of those brain cramps he can be prone to, and Garland gets the gift they're looking for. Game on and the crowd is back in it. And then the inevitable long shot goal on Skinner, and and some butt clenching at the end. Unbelievable how it morphed into that.

Really proud though overall of the game they brought tonight, and super game plan by Knob and the coaching staff.

Now that I can think clearly and loop back here.

It's so nice to have a coach behind the bench who actually knows what the flying f*** he's doing and has a good pulse on the team.

That timeout to calm everyone down after the 2nd was as monumental as anything the players did tonight

The timeout, the goalie change, lineup changes. It's night and day from the last 3 coaches we have had.

The sit back happened with the dumb as rocks Connor Brown penalty. We were fine until that one. That got us defending and we didn't stop the habit after that.
