Injury update (per Tony Brown on Facebook game preview):
Koules (recently signed to an SPC) was a healthy scratch. This wouldn't be noteworthy except that they played Somerby at forward ahead of him (both Collins and Somerby played forward on Friday night).
Kivlenieks a healthy scratch after being the backup on Friday
Scratched: Koules (not with team yet?), Robinson (likely returning from Columbus)
Injured: Vigneault, Milano, Thurkauf, Dalpe, Bittner
Scratched: Berube (likely returning from Columbus)
A: Cross, Letestu
Scratched: Koules (Probably will join team in Cleveland on Monday)
Injured: Vigneault, Milano, Thurkauf, Dalpe, Bittner, Gerbe
C: none (Gerbe replaced with third A when injured)
A: Cross, Gallant, Letestu
See the injury report I just posted. The forward lines have been gutted.
I'll post a depth chart following practice on Tuesday.
Working on depth chart now
I'm not sure I have enough clarity in regard to the defensive pairings to post a depth chart (lots of mix and match outside of Carlsson-Clendening today).
Vigneault and Bittner practiced in non-Red jerseys
Dalpe and Milano practiced in Red (non-contact) jerseys
Thurkauf and Gerbe did not practice
Simpson also did not practice
Here's my best guess at a depth chart:
Fortier-(only four centers)-Koules
Rehabbing: Milano, Dalpe
Injured: Thurkauf, Gerbe
Assuming Stenlund is there where would he be? I'm curious because from recent lines you posted he looked like a 4th liner but yet he gets called up.
To be honest, this has me baffled, too.
Cleveland line are all over the place I wouldn't say there was ever a real order like there is in Columbus
We'll know more about the current lines following this weekend's games.
It could be a matter of lines that fit well together rather than a 1-2-3-4 hierarchical structure.
Also, the forward lines are still a mess with multiple key players out injured.
Separate names with a comma.
