McKegg was only McKegg because Bishop got injured... and I honestly thought of all the feel good stories from last year that McKegg was the most blown out of proportion. He was a fine 4th line NHL center.

Bishop, on the other hand, showed the wheels to be a good 4th line NHL center IMO. It'll take another injury to a center but...

McKegg had fresh legs and lot of jump during the playoffs when other, better players were tired and slow by comparison. I don't believe he's quite as good as he looked at that point. I still would've liked to keep him though. The memes were too good
