Well. Mourinho's record in play off games is rather decent.

Mourinho has a lot of work to do before that tie though. Spurs didn't handle the high press from Wolverhampton very well - so playing that same way against Leipzig would be problematic. Pretty sure Spurs will be better though. 50/50 for me.

They might be better, but they won’t have a coaching advantage. Nagelsmann is a terrific coach. Mourinho isn’t at this point.

When is Laporte scheduled to come back?

At the beginning of december he gave an interview where he said "I can’t say when exactly but more or less one month-and-a-half to two months."

So that would put it mid/late January. Baring no setbacks (which wouldn't be insane given it's a knee surgery issue) it looks like he'll be back with at least a couple weeks to get back to speed before the CL tie.
