Big body winger, powerful and can rebound. I feel like this is going to be a ****ing great deal for us.

I'm happy about this. Always loved this guy. He's a beast when he turns it on. Hopefully our core can motivate him and get him playing again. Again, always liked Chris Stewart.

No Wild season is complete without a trade with Buffalo.

I'm not sure why we needed another bottom 6 forward, but depth is depth I guess...

Stewart is what the Wild need. A big forward who can score and is not afraid to get physical. The Wild don't have anyone who can do what he does. This is a good deal for the Wild.

I think he will be a good fit for you guys - I would hate to be the team to play you in the first round if you make the playoffs. Your grit is off the charts when your team is clicking and gets even better now

The price isn't too bad, would have been bad if it was an earlier 2nd or 3rd rounder but 2 years is a lot of time to flip a 2nd. But I don't see why anybody would be mad about us getting a big body for the playoffs with decent a chance to elevate his game in a contending team!

I think the Colorado game prompted this. Our players still get beat up and liberties are taken with Cooke out. Stewart can provide depth scoring on a line that will be able to be strong and physical.
