When he plays his game of speed, hard forecheck and get to the front of the goal, he is a beast.
He's not going to create offense on his own and with that, may run into streaks where the puck isn't bouncing his way.
With that said, he has become a leader on the team and his contract looks like it may be a bargain.

Less than 2 seasons. 18-19: 74 P in 82 Games, 19-20: 75 P in 57 G
The first season is that of a good 1c. The latter is that of an elite player. I expected him to play like 18-19 Zibby and last year be a career year for him.
Top class centre play means a lot more than just points
That 17-18 Rangers team was the year of the letter so the team was generally not good, especially after February of that year and when Zib started to emerge not just on the scoresheet but also in his consistency, defensive play and match ups.

He's always spent too much time thinking instead of letting the game come naturally. He's admitted he overthinks the game somtimes. The dude is super smart, pretty sure former college teammates of his said if he didn't make the NHL he'd be working at a hedge fund making millions anyway. Speaks like 7 languages or something ridiculous. Sometimes you have to turn your brain off and play on instinct.
Age & experience plus having the security of his contract may be paying dividends in allowing him to just chill out and play hockey.

2 seasons of 1C play, and only one season of "top class" play. I think he'll bounce back a bit next year. This year's a wash for him.
