Wisconsin Intact and Ready To Run

Ty Emberson had never played a season like this — playing without a full team until halfway through the year.
Until the Badgers lined up against the border battle rivals Minnesota on Jan. 8.
That was the first time
Wisconsin was together, as a team. No players out with positive COVID-19 tests. No players out because of World Juniors. No players out because of injuries.
At the beginning of the season, it looked promising for the Badgers. Cole Caufield returned after a stellar season. The Big Ten was the first conference to announce a plan to pay. And the Badgers started with a sweep against Notre Dame. Wisconsin started the season 4-2.
