2 SB wins in four years. 3 SB trips.

Or..would they need to win in 2023 to secure a dynasty?

Honestly it feels like this is the year they get back on top. Best AFC team by far. Put 41 on Bucs D. 13 weeks to go. But other than Buffalo, no tough games really.

his reaction when they lost in the SB was hilarious, I'm sure he'll conveniently forget that one.
3 SB trips in four years would be impressive.

Hawks are considered a dynasty and they never repeated.

Oooh, this is a tasty receipt to tuck away.
Who is currently better than them in the AFC?

They also get Raiders x 2, Denver x 2, Texans, Jags, Chargers, Rams, and Seattle.

Should be able to win those games.

No such thing as ‘best team in the AFC by far’

Dynasties generally have to win y'know, more than one championship to be a dynasty.

The 10's Blackhawks (3 championships in 5 seasons) is a dynasty

The 2000s Pats are a dynasty (3 titles in 4 years)

The Lincecum era Giants (3 titles in 5 years) are a dynasty.

The chiefs are not, regardless if they win this year.

No.

Warriors won 3 titles in 4 years the 2010’s.
Giants won 3 titles in 5 years on the 2010’s.
Cowboys of the 90’s won 3 in 4 years.
Yankees of the 90’s won 4 in 5 years.
Steelers of the 70’s won 4 in 6 years.
Athletics of the 70’s won 3 straight.

Chiefs have won only 1 chip, need more than that to be declared a dynasty.

hawks were never a dynasty and no one considered them one

last NFL dynasty was the pats when they won 3 SBs in 5 years (14, 16, 18)

Not even close.

Heck, I don’t think that the Hawks should be considered a dynasty.

To me, the bare minimum to be a dynasty is to win three championships in five seasons (or four championships in seven seasons). That’s a historically notable number of championships in a time frame small enough where said team won more than the entire rest of the league combined. That’s a dynasty.

And aside from LeBron apologists, merely making it to the finals isn’t a notable enough of an accomplishment to add to historic accolades.

I'm a Chiefs fan and they blew their chance(s) to be considered a dynasty, at least as of now. The offensive line falling apart and making the Bucs game non-competitive and blowing it against Cincy last year effectively ended that even if they win this year. They are in the midst of a great run, and if they squeeze another SB out of this before Kelce hangs them up I don't see how you could really complain. But they aren't a dynasty and likely never will be (because it's incredibly hard to win a SB, much less multiple).

They are the established team to beat in the AFC, with Buffalo being the most dangerous in usurping that throne. Dynasty would usually require championships though, and they only have one.
