Why do people keep linking to there? You realize that the posts there are for people wanting to actually do a "mock draft" with people and drafting, not posting a mock draft done by themselves.

@chicken, some strange picks (Siemens at 4 and Strome to Boston?) but other than that I like it. Love Oleksiak to Dallas.

Because the mods move lots of mocks there, and dont do it with others.

Same thing happens with any thread that has a poll in it.

Chickenman92, you doubled on Victor Rask @ 39th and 44th.

Other than that nothing looks too out of the ordinary.

Tell me more about why Joel Edmundson is a 2nd rounder. I havent seen enough of him to want to pick him that early....

Off the board quite a bit with Vancouver.

Ottawa gets the worst of Chicago's three second rounders (from the Campoli trade). So pick 48 would be Ottawa's. And they wouldn't pick two goalies named Gibson.

Nice job otherwise.

I'll say this - I don't think the Isles will or would take any of the three guys you mentioned them taking.

Just in general:
1) Snow has shown a regular tendency to always take a forward with a top 10 pick. I can see him breaking that tendency if Larsson or Hamilton are available when the Isles pick.
2) The team has seriously leaned away from taking Czechs/Slovaks in recent years. Just saying.
3) With Dipietro on contract for another 9 years, Koskinen a very tall, Finish project currently in the AHL, two absolute studs in Poulin (already strut his stuff at the NHL level before a knee injury) and Nilsson (led the SEL in GAA and is currently starring in the playoffs for Lulea), as well as 25 year old Montoya showing he could be a fully capable 1A/2nd stringer, the chances of the Isles taking yet another tall Scandinavian goalie this summer, much less anywhere before round 4, are slim to none.

Generally, I also can't currently imagine Siemens going before Hamilton or Murphy, much less both.

Yea, the one thing I noticed, even as a Rangers fan, is that I don't think the Islanders would draft a d-man with their first pick.

I think if Couturier is available then he would be the likely target for them. Even if not I would still think they find a way to go forward. Other than that good job.

Buffalo will be taking the best center available when they draft. I could definitely even see them make a trade to move up to get a chance at one of the higher ranked centers. But if not, they will be taking McNeill or Zibanejad who is a center, not a RW like you have listed.

i can't see Pittsburgh taking a Russian with our first or even a euro player, for the most part he only seems to draft American or Canadian players in the early rounds
