Finding a trade for Anisimov and Seabrook will be key. Anisimov is possible, but Seabrook will stay.

Buy out Seabrook, maybe, or trade him, but I highly doubt many teams will try to take him.

Have to at least wait and see if there's a compliance buyout with the next CBA. Buyout now and his caphit is on the books til 2030, lol.

Best case scenario, there's a compliance buyout and they get out of it in a few years for nothing. If there's no compliance buyout, then at least the contract will have 2-3 years left and be "easier" to move or eat.

There's such a big gap in what teams will pay and what the Hawks would need to move him.

If you are another team, your not giving up much of anything to take him at full price, and probably not a ton to get him at 25% retained.

If you are the Hawks, what would it take to trade your best center? Much more than anyone is going to pay. That's before factoring in Toews status in franchise history. It's not happening.

Nothing major will change in Chicago this offseason. Biggest thing I could see is a coaching change. Moves wise it'll be smaller moves.

Hossa and a pick/prospect to a cap floor team.

After that it'll be filling in the roster with small salary players.
