Wait a minute what Western team is better then the #1 seed in West?

Do you think the Capitals are the best team in the league and a lock for the SCF?

Not sure what that has to do with me asking how the Hawks are not best team in West considering they just locked up #1 seed a week or so back and comfortably at that

I don't know people have opinions that differ from others, I think the hawks are the best team in the West, but someone could look at it differently. I just doubt think points is the end all be all.

Lol you're looking at season long stats.

Hawks had very bad underlying numbers the first halfof the season.

They've been a completely different team since Feb. 1st.

Look at their metrics since Feb. 1st and then get back to me.

Not to mention they've only had Oduya since early March...

Now with him and Hjalmarsson back together their top 4 is as strong as ever, as is their overall depth with TVR and Campbell being a 3rd pair. Young talents like Kempny and Forsling waiting further down the depth chart.

Basically you need to seriously rethink your position on this one...the Hawks Dcore is very solid. One of the best in the league.

And of course this is all coming after a game in which their top 2 defenseman didn't even play...
