Good for Janmark, and the type of player the Hawks need in their bottom 6.
Gets a ton of scoring chances cause hes a smart player positionally, fast, and is solid defensively. Don't count on him finishing his chances, as his shot is amongst the worst in the NHL and he exclusively scores on tap in goals now only pretty much. It'll get frustrating and you'll get to the point where you don't even care about his breakaways. Decent playmaker sometimes though but bad puckhandler, usually likes to carry it behind the net and then lose it but he's improved slightly there.
Basically, he's a good depth forward and PKer. Glad he's gone, but that's only cause we have a worse and more expensive version of him in Cogliano already.

If he had that he'd be a highly paid top 6 player but since he doesn't he's usually used in a bottom 6 role. Can play top 6 as well but his linemates better be scorers because he is not. He was pretty good with Spezza in his first two seasons.

Not really. Our bottom 6 last year lacked quality, particularly guys who could play defense. With Saad gone, we had a hole in our PK. At this price, he's a good fit for us.

He will somehow get like 20 breakaways but only finish on 2 of them. If he scored on half of his scoring chances he would be a 20 goal scorer every season. The problem is he has one of the weakest shots in the league and he can't elevate the puck. Pretty good PKer, fast, and surprisingly plays hard and doesn't mind mixing it up after the whistle.
Glad he's gone because as said above, Dallas already has a worse and more expensive version in Cogliano.

Janmark is overrated and overhyped trash
All this move accomplishes is taking a spot that could have been occupied by a kid like Kurashev or Hagel
The team is f***ing trash with the most embarrassing collection of trash in net and here we are throwing away 2M+ and a roster spot on someone who has never once lived up to the hype and has done jack shit the last two seasons
Oh and he is about to turn 28

Obviously saad is better than janmark but i'd rather have zads than maata

In your world where he's 'overhyped trash', ok.
In reality he's someone that will help any contender.
Has Janmark ever even had hype? Are you sure youre thinking of the right player? It was a shock to most Wings fans that he even ever made the NHL...
Its BWCly, he hates 99% of the moves Bowman makes and complains with a passion.
