I’ve watched him every game. He could be an NHL first liner. He could be an AHL 3rd liner.

He needs to get in better shape . He needs strength and another gear, seems like he comes out flying on a shift then after 15 seconds or so ,nothing .he has the talent.

RFA next year without arbitration rights. May be their best off-season move.

Kurashev kinda regressed a little last season, and hasn’t gained enough strength at the NHL level to become a consistent player.

Kurashev also started really slow last season and didn’t score his 1st goal of the season until mid December.

On a decent team Kurashev is bearly a bottom 6 player but on the Hawks this upcoming season he’s likely a 2nd line winger on the cheap for the tank.
