A right side of Seth Jones and Connor Murphy isn't bad at all. You can wince at the contract for the former, but it's still a far cry from the corpses that they used to play. Having Murphy locked at a decently-friendly rate cuts the edge off some.

Team USA 2013 WJC defense. One of the best defensive teams to win gold at that tournament.

They just need to add Trouba, Ghost, and Mike Reilly now.
