I was not a fan naturally of original but it literally only went off the air 10 years ago

Are they really that devoid of ideas that they are looking to reboot shows from late 90's and early 00's

CW has had success with supernatural teenage driven stuff. It's how they survive. Just a network finding it's niche while it can.

Reading the article it would seem that they are going to be different 20 somethings.

Yeah, but if it's 20 somethings... it's not the 'Charmed Ones'... because they literally didn't exist until the primary characters of the original series.

So either it has to be their guardians... or they're just completely rewriting the show and might as well call it something different.

It makes no sense at all. They covered the Mother and GrandMother's story in the original series. They went back in time to do so.
