Trade 1 with Columbus:
Sam Bennett for Josh Anderson

Or

Trade 2 with Detroit:
Sam Bennett for Andreas Athanasiou

I don’t think AA needs a refresh. He just needs competent line mates with some offensive upside.

From a Red wings perspective, I would say No. Rather a high draft pick/prospect as opposed to Bennett, if the wings were to trade him..

Yeah, I slightly exaggerated. It's only 12 of the 16 threads I've found so far. Although two of the exceptions were trolling outliers that didn't survive past the first page, both by the same guy.

Come on. Both those guys have had years with major production, something Bennett never has. Even their 3rd best years are better than Bennett's best.

Bennett is a guy Calgary is best just re-signing mid-to-long term at a low cap number when the time comes. He doesn't have a ton of value because he's pretty much a third line LW who doesn't kill penalties at this point. Guys like that are last day off-season signings at league min.

Detroit says No, and an easy no at that. If he were to get traded it would be a #1 draft pick and a prospect.

You got to be kidding us, AA best season is 54 points while Bennetts best season is 36 points Bennett at best is a #3C and Detroit already has some potential #3C in their pipeline that will be better then Bennett.
