Jakon Pelletier is clearly a very good choice as well.

Zary. To get a legit C prospect at 26 is awesome.

I love what I saw on the highlight reel of Poirier. He has ELITE skating. Kinda reminds me of Brodie or Hanifin with his lateral agility.

Wolf and Chechelev in net. Ruzicka, Nicolayev, Phillips, Zavgorodniy, Pettersen, Gawdin all have a chance.

Button is a beauty.

I think Zary and Pelletier are super close. But I’m going with Pelletier because he had an incredible season. If Zary gets there next year, he could overtake him. But I think you can interchange them here.

undersized left shot winger with no pro experience coming off an injury plagued year will make a team saturated with left shot NHL forwards...?

riiiight.

Pelletier actually reminds me a lot of when Baertschi was a prospect. If he has a good camp, I could see him forcing his way onto the roster.

Hot take:
Pelletier makes the team next season.
Why is no one talking about this?

Probably because there is about a 1% chance of that happening Hox

Undersized 19 year old late first rounder that has never played a professional game. Trying to make a NHL team as a LHS winger that is absolutely loaded with LHS wingers.

Hotter take:
Zary makes the team next next season for a 9-game look.
Same birth year as Pelletier/similar amount of CHL experience, plays a more diverse game, plays C and W.

Before all of our depth signings maybe. Now I don't see it for most of our prospects outside of Gawdin, Mackey and Valimaki

I don't know if I'd consider either Pelt or Zary to be bluechip, but we'll need them to become closer to that and be solid top 6 F's in the near future.
