Marinaro just had an episode of Sick Podcast CF Montreal with Nilton and Sofiane, and they had Tom Bogert on as a surprise guest for a bit. And during that moment, Tony asked Bogert if he hears anything regarding Courtois bringing in an assistant. Bogert said he hasn't heard anything. But Tony said he has some info that leads him to believe that Courtois might be looking at Chicago Fire II head coach Ludovic Taillandier to bring with him as an assistant.

Marinaro showed a small clip of an interview Courtois did about 3 months ago, and he spoke about how Chicago Fire II finished 6th in the conference last year, but Courtois mentions that by a lot of the metrics Crew 2 go by, Chicago Fire II were one of the better teams in the league. And the host brings up how Fire II beat Crew 2 both times they played against each other.

It doesn't sound like direct information. He has an interesting resume though

It took a little while, but about half way through the season, you were able to see the games on IPTV despite it only being on MLS Season Pass. Granted they were mostly without sound, I'm assuming that with more time and more exposure, it'll be even better this year.

Seems like a step down for Quioto.

Speaking of Quioto we have yet to find his replacement. Unless we are banking on Mahala to fill his shoes.

It will be curious if they look to fill those shoes internally or if they will go out and acquire someone, whether through transfer, signing, or a trade through the MLS (which tends to be an avenure Renard and Cremndzidis explore the most).

No place to train in Montreal for the team. The Big O is closed for renovations. They will have to train in Arizona and Florida for the next coupe of months. Big headaches to keep the players happy, away from their families. AND, they gonna play their first 6 games on the road.

They're not going to train in Arizona and Florida for 2 months. They will have their training camps there, which is what they do every year for camp.

They will return and train here. My guess is they will use a temporary indoor soccer field if the weather prevents them from training at Centre Nutrilait.

It's possible they will stay away for a week prepping their upcoming match while also doing some team activities.

Well.. Renard said he was looking for a potential 15 goals forward. Nilton's guess (or Sofiane's) was Sebastian Ferreira from Houston.

We have 3 senior spots open and 2 supplemental I believe?

We will most likely sign 2 kids, one RB and one Academy players.

Then the 3 senior spots will probably be a striker, a GK and Sosa. Trading for Ferreira will probably send some players away thus freeing some other spots

Thorkelsson will likely leave if we do get Sosa
Glassi probably won't stay much longer with his injury history
